Temple of Slaughter Dungeon Guide

Rex Chimaerus (Boss)
Acid Pools
Chimaerus' tail glows green and shoots acid pools at targeted players. Don't stand on these!
Paralytic Venom
A player is marked by the boss and a green aura appears around them. The targeted player is then paralysed and Rex will cast 3 fireballs at them, getting hit by 2 will likely kill.
Strategy
- The tank should stand between the targeted player and Rex to tank at least 2 of the fireballs.
- If the tank has sufficient gear they may tank all 3 fireballs.
- The targeted player should stand a good distance away from the boss to give the tank space.
Chains
There will be four large pillars with chains connected to them. Rex charges up a fire attack and spawns blue floating rocks to commence the mechanic.
Mechanic
- Assign a player to each pillar.
- Two players should interact with the floating rocks to reach the central platform.
- One person must interact with the object in the middle of the platform.
- Assigned players should be in position waiting to pull their respective chains.
Notable Encounters
Berserk Dark Enforcer (Elite)
Occasionally creates a large pool of lava after the dialogue 'I'll Burn your souls'. This can do significant damage if not sufficiently geared.
Tip
- Run into water to clear the burn damage if it's too much.
Fire Beams Maze
After beating the Berserk Dark Enforcer, you'll encounter a room with visible fire beams erupting through the floor. Be careful and do not get hit, the flames hurt.
Shade Wizard (Elite)
Over the course of the fight, the Wizard will summon kamikaze dogs that will hunt you down and blow up.
Strategy
- When a dog is about to explode, kite away from the party to minimise the AoE damage.
